Steve Woodard, Principal
Steve is widely recognized as an innovative and multidisciplinary product developer who provides elegant solutions to difficult problems.
He has developed medical products in a wide variety of categories including: endoscopy, orthopedic, cardiovascular, endovascular, diagnostics, and women’s health. His non-medical products experience include the development of several automation systems including high performance optical coordinate measurement machines (CMMs). His manufacturing experience includes developing and transferring three high-volume, automated manufacturing lines to China
Areas of emphasis include:
- * Development of technologically advanced medical devices and instrumentation
- * Design of small, complex, high-precision mechanisms
- * Design for manufacturability and concurrent engineering
- * Manufacturing Process Development, Implementation, and Qualification
Steve is an alumnus of UC Davis (BSME) and Santa Clara University (MSME).
